Who we are
Matlani Collection has been serving its customers for the last 68 years and is a popular destination amongst locals. We are also known globally for our sarees.  Located in Central Market, Lajpat Nagar, near the Lajpat Nagar metro station, spanning two floors, we are retailers and wholesalers of sarees, suits, shawls, and stoles.  The collection of sarees that we offer cannot be found anywhere else in the market. We have an innumerable collection of sarees within a reasonable price range. We don't charge any fees for delivery in Delhi NCR. Discounts are offered throughout the year.

How it all began...

Mr. Pawan Matlani & Mr. Tarun Matlani

Business Owners

Matlani Collection was started by Mr. Pawan Matlani's father, Mr. Ram Chand Matlani in 1956 at the same location in Lajpat Nagar, selling suit material only.  At that time, the shop was one of its kind in the market. In 1980, Mr. Pawan Matlani joined the business, and sarees and shawls were also added to the merchandise. His son, Mr. Tarun Matlani also joined in 2012 and got the shop renovated in 2014. Their interest in fabrics and traditional wear has nurtured the business ever since and created goodwill among customers. Currently, the father-son duo work together with their experience and fresh ideas and have made the business a success.
